hmmm, what do you think about that?
Any personal experiences?I am wondering how many studies prove this and how many individuals will respond after approx. 50% failure of response anyway...

I don't have any personal experience but there are a whole bunch of studies supporting Lexapro to treat SA:

Thanks SFY for the links, not a "whole bunch". Anyway there is maybe something which has some significance.

I can only give one person's empirical findings. I'm not sure exactly what to make of the categorizing of anxiety disorders as I have considered myself a suffer of a garden variety Anxiety Disorder that covered just about all the aspects and findings of the adjectives used in front of "anxiety" to describe the disorders.
Lexapro had worked well for me..... Really well as I was monotherapy Klonopin for three years prior to starting Lexapro. I can't recall the last dose of K I took but it has been rare since the max benefits of Lexapro kicked in for me.

I tried lexapro which didn't help my social or generalized anxiety at all. Only klonopin has worked so far. None of the other SSRI's helped either. We are all different for sure.
