OMG, that handwriting thread got me thinking...
I held my hands out in front of me with fingers spread and my hands shake and wobble! The left hand shakes more.
I've also noticed that my legs feel like they "start" and "stop" when I walk down stairs. i.e. my movements don't seem fluid
My body is also "jerky". My head does it too.
I just wrote these things off as being anxiety or tension related. I don't remember when these symptoms started. Could they be med related? I'm on 50mg Celexa, 150mg Wellbutrin SR and 0.75mg Risperdal.
Should I be concerned?

Short answer, yes you should be concerned, but I don't know what your best solution is.

What does the dr say? I'd see a regular doc, this time, in lieu of a pdoc. Don't want to scare you, cause it could be a lot of things or nothing, but that is how Parkinson's starts, isn't it? I'd rule that out if it were me...
Hoping it's nothing,

> DenebConcerned to talk to your doctor. You're right, it could likely be anxiety related. It could also be EPS, or a fancy name for side effects, from the Risperdal. Pseudoparkinsonism is common and comes and goes -- it sometimes disappears completely during treatment and reamerges, sometimes it lingers. If your head is being jerky though in a consistent pattern I would definately talk to your doctor, it could be something else other than EPS, not to scare you. Are you left handed ? That's often a sign of Pseudoparkinsonism? My right shook slightly more than my left, I'm right handed. This doesn't always follow, but sometimes. If you're at a stopped state, calm, and nothing going on, and you shake your hands vigorously, do they then start wobbling for a few seconds to a minute or so and stop? That's also likely Pseudoparkinsonism. At any rate, talk to your doctor.
This is the end of the thread.
