Is anyone else on an SSRI Remeron combo? I have been on that combo for certain periods (Lexapro and Remeron) and have also gone for long periods without the Remeron.
Comparing the two, it does seem that my mood is better on both. I just wish now that I had kept detailed mood logs, but my recollection and journals seem to support that I feel better on both. However, I do eat more on both.
I wonder though, is it just my imagination that I do better on both? Sometimes I get confused. I would like to just take the lexapro, because that doesn't give me the munchies like Remeron. But if the two really are better for me overall, I want to be honest with myself about that. I keep going back and forth on this!
Has anyone else been on this combo? Or do you have any theories? Thanks.

I am on the same combo, plus klonopin for Socail Anxiety....as with other meds in the past the Remeron and Lexapro seemed to help me in the past..but now I am struggling..I tried 45mg of Remeron, but I can't take more than 30 without feeling hungover the next day....my Lexapro was raised to 20 mg about 4 months ago when I felt depression symptons coming back...over the past two months they have really come back and are overwhelming.......so I don't know....it is crap shoot....sometimes I think I should taper off all of them and go back to drinking...............
