Ugh! I like the Eff, but I can't get over the constipation. I like how it evens out the Wellbutrin, but I don't know what to do.
I drink tons of water and liquids (for the dry mouth). I drink coffee, I take vitamin C and Magnesium. Anyone else have these issues?

When I took effexor (I was on it for over a year before it stopped working for me) I ended up taking Metamucil to deal with the constipation. None of the dietary changes I tried (more fruits and veggies) seemed to make a difference. It was the most, er, benign way to deal with it for me. Made life much more comfortable, even if it made me feel like I was an instant member of the Senior's Club.
Good luck,

It can really help to increase water intake. Make sure you are drinking at least 2 quarts of water a day, more if you can do it.

This is the most problematic side effect for me. The water, the veggies, fiber is all good. I haven't tried the Colace yet. I've got one more: Fiber One cereal or Kelloggs Allbran-lots of fiber keeps it movin'!
-Good luck!

Brand name Colace can be pretty expensive, a store brand of docusate sodium works just as well and is less than half the price.
