Guys
my lovely and adorable appearance has been blemished by weight gain from my girlfriend, Nardil. Once I go down from 60mg to 45/30mg, the weight starts coming off real quick, but, you guessed it, the anxiety and then depression comes back!
What's this crazy guy called Ace to do??!!!!
Ace
Nardil-60
Seroquel- 150
Xanax-2-3
Lamictal- 25

Ace, do you think Metformin (glucphage) might be useful, perhaps in low doses?

Hate to sound like a doctor but do you excercise? I know the meds put weight on without eating more. They need a drug to counteract this side-effect which so many medications have. Fondly, Phillipa

Ace I am suffering weigth gain like you, but this time it´s worse. It seems Seroquel aggravates the side effects of Nardil like Weight gain and Sexual Problems.
60 mgs of Nardil alone, did not made gain too much weigth, jut half or one pounds But now I believe I have raised my weigth like 5 pounds.I am planning to stop the medicines for a while, lose the weigth gained , and then restart the medicines with a diet and daily execise.

5 pounds is nothing compared to the numbers I have heard. You must have a fast metabolism. Why don't you stay on the meds and start your diet and exercise regime now.

Come Tep, make it burn! You know. It just hit me know before I hit the submit button. I wonder if nutrionists know about the different meds and their weight gaining properties. For instance some just make you want to eat, some change your metabolism and some do both! It would be interesting to find out ....

>Yes , I believe I have a fast metabolism. Without medicines I could eat and eat chocolates, cakes , sugar, and many more delicious fat stuff without gain not even a single pound.
I have tried to down the weight gain . I do a little of exercise and I dont eat even one chocolate but I haven´t lost any pound =( . I´m
reaching the weight I had when I was on Zypreza.
I feel like a pig oink oink !.I thought about suspending the medicines because I also have to go to the dentist in the next month. I could use any anestecy without any problem.
Thanks for your concern guys !!! =)TEP !!

How much weight gain are we talking about here? And is it because you are hungrier and eating more? Or is everything the same but you're still gaining?
