Have any of you found that your testosterone levels have dropped while taking AD's? I just had labs done and my testosterone levels have fallen over the last year and are now below the normal range. My doctors seem a little baffled and are hesitant to prescribe a testosterone supplement. Yet, I wonder if the low levels are a big reason for why I haven't completely come out of my depression (lasting nine months) like I had previously. I have been taking Cymbalta (60 mgs) for six months and Trileptal (600mgs) for one month.

Let's start by getting a bit more info:
1)What is your age?
2)Are you taking other meds,if so,what and how much?
These 2 questions can help us along with this much faster as soon as you post the answers.
Thanks,Festus

Yes, they can effect the P-450 enzyme system in the liver an throw your hormone balance off.
If you are a man, your testoserone often will decrease and your estriadol levels will often increase.
This isnt good for your sex life at all, but you must balance that in realation to your mental state.
