I was just thinking how really empty the Board is lately. Is it because everyone feels good or that now that the weather is better and daylight savings time more people are out. Just don't want to be the only one with a problem. And really curious. Fondly, Phillipa

Thats not good I hope your feeling better soon. Im feeling pretty down myself. But im here in Australia, the weather is getting colder in Sydney and maybe thats why. Days are shorter and so on. But my anxiety and depression wont ease up arghh. I think the 10mg of valium is helping a little bit.
I dont remember reading that you were on an antidepressant, are you? I think you were saying that you take 15mg of Valium though right?
Take care, I hope you and everyone else that feels bad feels better soon :)

I take a mere 25mg of zoloft. I was on 50mg and l5mg of remeron not long ago. I stopped the remeron when I didn't see that it was helping me sleep. The zoloft I cut back on because I couldn't see any improvement. Actually I was doing more until I had my dumb facial surgery and the complications. It's bummed me out and I don't think a pill can help that.Fondly, Phillipa

Phillipa,
I am so sorry to hear that you are having complications from your surgery. I am a great proponent of aesthetic surgery and think that it can help with esteem and confidence. I think that it is really common to feel bummed out after surgery. We get really hyped up before the surgery (really scary to get surgery, right?) and then we feel so darn crappy afterward and we wonder if it will ever turn out the way we expected. Be good to yourself and pamper yourself. Just because things are not going as well as expected at the moment does not mean that you caused the complications. Don't expect the final "you" until the swelling has subsided. Keep me posted as to how you are doing. I care.

Thank-you so much. You guys are so sweet and kind. That's why I come here so often. We all seem to have special needs at different times. A support group, we all have different expertise and knowledge, and experiences to share. Someone always seems to come along when you need them the most! Again thanks. Fondly, Phillipa

Don't worry, you're not. We're just busy, and tired from spring sporting events. Same problems, just getting irritated with side-effects from medications and feel like I can't do anything about it. The topamax is still making my daughter's hair come out, and her pdoc is saying just don't wash hair every day! I'm thinking about a different doctor. She doesn't like him at all, anyway. I am ready to throw my hands in the air and say forget it. It is, how it is. -L
