Just to let you folks know that I have been on Nardil for almost 3 years now, and this baby is still a gem. I've only had one hypertensive crises (which i Kind of enjoyed!) and all side effects (apart from constipation) are gone.
ALL PRAISE NARDIL!!!!!!!!!

What was it that caused your one hypertensive crisis? And after you realized what was happening did you take an emergency pill, go to the hospital, or do neither?

Hi Ace,
i'm glad to hear it works well for you.
>I've only had one hypertensive crises (which i Kind of enjoyed!)
What did you get it from? What remedy?
>and all side effects (apart from constipation) are gone.
Including the sexual ones?! If so, how long did it take before they vanished?

:-)
Best wishes,
Mattias

I believe it was a hamburger
And after you realized what was happening did you take an emergency pill, go to the hospital, or do neither?
Both. Took Adalat, called ambulance and stayed in hospital for a good 2 hours for observation. When I first notice it, I was sweating so much, had extreme tachycardia (fast heart beat) and my chest felt expanded....Also had occipital headache.
Once the ambulance came they confirmed my blood pressure was way up. Then I had the oxygen mask put on me and was swiftly driven to hospital...they checked my vitals very regularly...they were very good to me...
It was a fun experience!

Hey ACE,
I took nardil for 5 years with good ... should I say too good of results? I was much more social, sexual, interested in everything ... my vest for life was peaking. But I also had bad insomnia, mildly impulsive and made some poor decisions .... which I have heard are signs of hypomania. Now I am okay on zoloft/low dose lithium/klonopin and wellbutrin. Do you ever feel hypomanic on nardil? How do you know what is normal? Thanks .... The Other Nardil Champ

>Hey mate!
Sure, I was euphoric on 90mg Nardil for 4 months until I was a fool to stop it and try Anafranil. When I say euphoric, it was a healthy euphoric. It was breathtaking -- so so so so very happy.
When I rerstarted it, it still gave me euphoria for some time, but faded to a nice, warm feeling of happiness.
Hypomania, is spending too much and making poor mistakes...however this CAN be overcome by self-control. Also, your insomnia could easily have been treated with Trazadone, Seroquel, Zyprexa, Clonidine etc etc
Even now, years later, nardil still has a great effect, independent of the other drugs I am taking...It rocks my world, ha ha!
Get back on the majic bullet bro!
