I am currently taking 10mgs of Lex per day. I feel great and haven't had the depression I usually had when the time change hit and the days got shorter.
My wife is thinking because I drink 2 glasses of wine per day, my liver is going to be shot. We also heard about the Glenn Campbell arrest and his reason for the arrest(whatever it was for) was due to him mixing Lex and alcohol.
Is anyone mixing Lex and moderate alcohol? What are the side affects of doing that if any? Thanks.

2 glasses of wine/day is a moderate ammount. I don't think it will pose a problem, just ask for regular liver function tests if you are worried.
Don't miss a dose of lexapro, make sure you taper from it if you want to discontinue.

I agree - two drinks a day is moderate. I do, however, believe that you _should_ be vigilant that you are not asking too much of your liver, in that if/when you get additional meds, you should re-evaluate the modest drinking.
I'm taking Lexapro 20mg and Seroquel 25mg and drink moderately (IMHO) - maybe two or three beers total during the week, and maybe four on Fri and Sat night each (10 beers per week total).
I also weigh about 185 lbs.I find that I want to drink _less_ now that my med combo is working.

Im on 10 mg Lexapro and am in a salesjob where I drink probably 20 drinks a week. My blood tests have all been fine as far as liver function, so I wouldnt worry about it.
