Panic Attacks
Agoraphobia
Muscle tension related to anxiety statesI'm not really sure if the social avoidence (this is a bit different from true agoraphobia) I experience is at phobic level but it helps with comfort in social situations for me.

for 3 weeks exactly and it's working great for me at a very low dose. My self-confidence in social situations is getting so much better! I was offered a job today and I even asked them for more money, which I would never have done in the past. I would have gone over and over and over it in my mind and then concluded that I wasn't worth it.

I've felt great the past few days on a low dose of Klonopin. It's smoothed out my (slight) social anxiety issues very effectively so far.
I'm mainly taking it for panic attacks and excessive anxiety (with ruminations). Also, I take a dose at nighttime to help me sleep. Knock on wood, it has been working like a dream for me. I feel so so so much better.

I take .5mg per day Klon. for GAD. It's been the most successful med. I've taken out of 9, over the past 4-5 years!
I've also realized it has hugely helped with my Restless Legs Syndrome.
I don't really have SA, but I have had panic attacks that related to isolated events of entertaining people,during an already stressful period, and an extra .25mg of Klon. really "soothed" me and helped me cope.

I have pretty much always done a twice a day dosing with the rare third dose (in a 24 hour period) if needed. It has an app. 30 hour halflife but I have found peak preformance lasts somewhere between 8-12 hours for me.

I used to take it once a day at bedtime, but found it contributed to my slow AM arousal, so now I split the dose - half at midday, half at night. For me, once a day dosing was therapeutic all day, with the occasional need to add an extra half dose as needed, at really stressful times.

One of the forgotten uses is for acute mania when combined with a mood stabilizer.

I use for social anxiety. Best med I've yet taken out of ativan, xanax, and klonopin. For me, Klonopin beats them all hands down. Xanax is funner, but klonopin is better. My social phobia is currently a memory from the past on Klonopin 4mgs/day. I take 2mg AM, 1mg at lunch, 1mg PM.

i take a lot of clonazepam for anxiety, as needed, but if i feel hypomania coming on (not very often -- very much stress dependant) i use it to maintain stability/prevent hypomania/cycling
