I've noticed no stomach or, uh.. lower gastro symptoms with Klonopin. It certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility that it could be upsetting your GI tract.

I haven't had any stomach,gastro, problems either.

It makes my mouth salivate tho. Which causes me to have cigarette cravings for some reason. DOh! I quit smoking a year ago.

I hope i dont start up again

an adjustment phase, too. If it's tolerable and not too difficult to deal with, you might give it a few days and see how things go.

Hope it works out.

did you cold turkey the xanax and just switch to klonopin. a doctor advised me to do that about a month ago, and it seriously messed me up with withdrawal symptoms.

why do they want to switch you? they want to switch me, too, but i am resisting it because xanax works for me and klonopin does not! they act like xanax is a devil drug?

I have pump-dependent gastroparesis but take klonipin as an adjunctive therapy for both seizure control and mood stabilization, and it doesn't upset my stomach or GI system (and nearly everything does). In fact, it's just the opposite. It actually seems to quell nausea a bit.

I was on xanax a few years ago and would never take it again both because of the stomach-tearing-up feelings on it and after coming off of it ... constant, awful in-your-throat nausea; diarrhea; vomiting. It lasted a good week, I'd say. I would never take it again.

Maybe your body is just adjusting, as someone else said, to the switch. We all respond differently.

if you can't have a little bit of food with the Klonopin, chew some gum. seriously. it keeps your focus away from your stomach.

sometimes I get bad nausea with the K and it just takes some time to pass if my 'little tricks' don't work.
