I asked this question once, but ill ask again.
I currently take 300 mgs of Luvox. Although it does help with my Anxiey, I dont see a whole lot of change in OCD. So, My P-doc added Buspar to the mix. He said that it will enhance the antidepressant. Has anyone heard of this?

Yes. Buspar is given to enhance other antidepressants. I have never tried it, but I know that it gradually works after taking it for a few weeks.

With Prozac, there is a warning that Buspar may exacerbate OCD symptoms. I'm not sure why this is exactly, but if it's true for Prozac, I would guess that combining it with Luvox in a patient with OCD isn't a hot idea either..... just my 2¢.

This will enhance the _antidepressant effect_, but I think, FWIW, it will do jack for the OCD.
This is the end of the thread.
