I currently take 45mg Nardil (3x15) and 3-4mg of Klonopin daily in divded doseages. What I have a with problem is the side effects such as my short term memory/ cognitive abilities.I have been Nardil for about only a 1 1/2 months. Yes, I have tried reducing the Klonopin to 2mg daily, but I still have the same side effects. Could it be that I taken Klonopin for about 4 years and this could is the problem? Or could it be the fact that recently added the Nardil?

Hi,
I tried the two together and experienced something similar.. In my humble opinion, I believe the combination of Nardil and Klonopin increases one's GABA in a synergistic fashion. This leads to very high GABA levels, which are associated with cognitive impairment.
Good luck

> Good luckYou are exactly right...Both drugs increase GABA (though by different mechanisms)
