Why was the MAOI Marplan withdrawn?

Why was the MAOI Marplan (isocarboxazid) withdrawn from the US market?

I am in the UK and it is still available. If I need to switch from Nardil because of side effects then I was wondering if I should ask for Parnate or Marplan.

Is there a problem with Marplan?

I heard that there were no problems whatsoever, but the MAOI market in America had become so small that the least popular one (Marplan) was withdrawn for marketing reasons.
