Just want to update. It's been around 4 weeks. Amisulpride at 50mg/day. Since one week, I've dropped everything: Klonopin, Adderall, Ultram. I simply don't need them, because Amisulpride is working so fantastically well!
Here are the symptoms it deals with:
- eliminates social anxiety/phobia
- deals with hypersomnia
- no anhedonia, apathy and poor motivation
- no irritability and mood instability
- no negative self-thoughts
- self-esteem (I finally feel "normal" - not low self-esteem)Really, I'm suprised it has worked so great for my dysthymia & social-phobia. I really recommend it to everyone. So far no side-effects.
Take care,
Brad

So you're only taking amisulpride? How long have you been off all the other meds? Please keep us posted! I'm glad to hear you're doing well! :)

It's been almost a week since I've stopped all my meds (Klonopin for anxiety, Ultram for slight depression, Adderall for dysthymia&ADD). And the point of stopping wasn't because I had to - I just FELT that I didn't need other meds. Amisulpride is working fantastically well right now stand-alone. I hope it stays that way :)
And I really recommend trying it for the symptoms mentioned in my first post.Take care,
Brad

Hi Brad,
I'm very interested in your Amis trial.
I've a long trial on it, but discontinously.
I can say that it is a "life saver" for me, cause when i fell deeply depressed, loooow mood, bad self esteem, 50 mg of Ami will make me fell wonderful after only 2h.(almolst all the right effects you posted above).
NO one AD worked better and faster for me!
The problem is that the effect do not last over the 2nd day of trial, and than i begin to feel the side effects like drowsyness, dizzyness, heavy eyes, somnolence.....and so on.
So i couldn't never go over few days of therapy.
What can you tell me about side effects you have on it?
please keep me informed about your trial!
Best luck and apologize for my awful english.
Eve

No side-effects. Well, during the first 3 weeks I had some ups and downs, at one point I was even going to stop amisulpride because I thought it just wasn't working. But I kept using it and now I'm thrilled with results. Starting week 4 and the med is still working great each day.
