I myself had asked in another thread about using Wellbutrin with Parnate...I actually started doing this yesterday. I did some research and also prepared myself for a possible trip to the emergency room, but it seems to do the trick when it comes to the sedation...also, it seemed to REALLY kick in the parnate. My BP is stable.

So strange! I was on 60mg - when I changed to 90mg BIG sedation! But the 60mg had no real seadtion. But when I recently went off for 17 days, once I got up to 60mg BANG! Sedation period throughout just about every day...taking sleeps during the day time every day almost. I must say, Nardil has always helped me sleep at night though.

I would vote for Provigil from the stand point of safty (I have taken 500mg. at one time). The problem I have with Provigil is it only lasts 4 hours. This is not normal (the drug has a 15 hr half life with stable state at 2-4 days). Don't go by my experience, I am a neurologic burn out. The 4 hours Provigil lasts for me are wonderful but I get a disphoric rebound-also not typical. I think it is a wonderful drug but very pricy.

I would vote for the Provigil. Better than any other crap I've ever had (Lithium, Depakote, Buspar, Paxil, Prozac, Wellbutrin, Remeron, Ativan, Klonipin) in any combination.
This is the end of the thread.
