I just got my first script for Strattera. The doc said to take in the morning but, of course, I popped one as soon as I got in the car! So far, just a little head crawling and nausea (he started me at 40mg). My doctor indicated it would probably not kick in for at least 3 weeks. Is this right? I thought that often people were feeling better within a few days.

My doc gave me a 2 week sample of strattera, I thought that was kind of strange since I've noticed from reading other's posts that it doesn't seem to kick in for a few weeks. I am on my 3rd day of 25mg and all I feel is a little spacey. I've noticed that I sit at my desk at work doing nothing at all....not working, not daydreaming, just sitting there spaced out!! I have to snap myself out of it. I also find my self moving in slow motion and not really wanting to converse with anyone! My doc told me to be sure and take it with food to avoid getting nausus (sp) I haven't had any problems so far!
