I'm thinking of adding this on to my meds for anhedonia and lack of motivation. I've read that its affinity for D3 receptors seems to be responsible for its antidepressant effect. Motivation, reward, and anhedonia were also mentioned quite a bit. Could this be the drug I'm looking for to help solve this problem? Have others tried it? How long before you felt effects, and what dose was optimal for you? Thanks so much!

I have tried it and it is more effective than a lot of other Ne reuptake drugs. It beats Wellbutrin, Amantadine and a few others that I can't recall right now. I told my pdoc about it and he is very thankfull to me because he is having great results with treating anhedonia on a lot of patients.

Hi Ame
I am currently taking 0.36mg (0.5mg) three times daily with some good results so far. I have been far brighter and got loads done this last week. I've have had no side effects at all and It has definitely helped with the anhedonia and lack of motivation.
I will be doubling the dose again this friday, and possibly again in two weeks time (you must taper up slowly to avoid the main side effect psychosis). So I have some hope in it.
Give it ago, I very much doubt it will make you any worse, hopefully better!
Cheers
Gary
