About a month ago I stopped taking Zyprexa (which caused me to sleep soundly for 12 hours a night and gain weight like you wouldn't believe) and switched to Abilify. I immediately starting having severe insomnia - waking up every hour, having trouble going back to sleep, kicking and rolling and general restlessness when sleeping and morning jitters. After a couple weeks of tis, I called the PDOC who told me to stop the abilify. I did, and it's improved somewhat, but I'm still having trouble sleeping - waking up a couple times a night, having trouble falling asleep - last night it took me 4 hours to fall asleep and I only slept for 5.
So here's the question - could the sleep problems be a result of stopping Zyprexa and will they end as my body adjusts to being without it?
I also take Lexapro, Effexor, Wellbutrin, and a bunch of Lupus drugs.
This is the end of the thread.
