Lexapro Dosage (compared to Celexa)

Posted by yeltom on September 27, 2002, at 12:21:50

I've heard that 40 mg of Celexa is equivalent to 10 mg, 15 mg, and 20 mg of Lexapro. Which is right? I'd also be interested in any comments regarding differences in side effects or efficacy between the two drugs. Thanks

See this thread: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20020609/msgs/109458.html.

The manufacturer says 10mg Lexapro is as efficacious as 40mg Celexa.

When I took celexa, I did well on 20 mg's...would
that mean I take 5 mg's of lexapro?
