I tried Wellbutrin and I'm not feeling much of an effect. I'm still very depressed and have thoughts of suicide. I tried to go on Effexor and that was a terrible experience. What about Zoloft or any other antidepressiants. I don't want any sexual side effects.

I took other SSRI's similar to Zoloft, and they caused sexual side effects at high doses. I have also tried Ludiomil and Parnate. Ludiomil had no sexual side effects, and the Parnate minimal sexual side effects.

Zoloft takes a long time (two/three months)to work and then, after about six months, seems to fade. It really increased my appetite. I think Paxil works better and much faster, although in my case I needed it for anxiety too. It doesn't fade. Eight months and doing well. I had to go up to 40 mg to get the right effect, 20 didn't do much for depression, although it was enough for anxiety. Paxil also hasn't made me gain weight like Zoloft. As far as sexual side effects, all of them dampened my desire, but none really drastically.
