ok im looking for some expert advise on such. My pdoc is not in today, and this is sorta freaking me out along with pissing me off.
My former med combo:
remeron 30mg bedtime
Desipramine 25mg bedtime
xanax .5mg am.As of last night, i stopped the desipramine, due to high heart rate, and does not hit seratonin. My mood is still up and down shitty.
So i replaced desipramine with 100mg of serzone with remeron at bed, then 100mg of serzone at breakfast.
To start, i had little problem falling asleep after 1hour, but did so, and really really had vivid dreaming all night. My friend told me i was snoring for hours, NOT EVEN TOSSING AND TURNING LIKE USUSALL.
Ok i woke up really groggy, zombie like, but had no nausea, and had an appettie. I took the other 100mg of serzone (note: broke apart a 200mg pill and divided doseage) along with breakfast. When i got to work, i was so out of it, zombie like, weird feeling. I then told myself, ok a cup of coffee or 2 willl do. After 30minutes of the coffee, I had a panic attact. I felt sorta like on a shitty extacy trip. My stomach tightened and nauseated, i became sweaty, and chills, VERY DISPHORIC and still am. All day i suffered atwork as such, feeling totally on cloud nine and then some. I also took my xanax too in am, and still had the panic feeling. NOW QUESTIONS ARE:1) What the hell did i do wrong, did these meds interact because there both 5ht2a blockers and nor blockade.
2) was my starting dose of 200mg total too high?
3) breaking the pill caused nausea?
4) maybe i should take 100mg ONLY at bed for a week, then see how i react and up to 200mg?
5) For you pharmocologists out there, what actually do you think transpired in my brain. Minor seratoinin syndrome, or overstimulation of norepinephrine. ITs 5om now, and still out of it, like i want to sleep but i cant. Probably gonna take another xanax to calm the fuck down.
