I've been taking 20mg of Celexa for approximately a year and a half. I was prescribed Celexa due to depresssion caused by Interferon. I've completed my course of Interferon and now wish to wean myself off of Celexa. Also, Celexa has caused me to gain around 25 pounds. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to safely wean myself off of Celexa.
Thank you for your help.

Roseblossom, I too weaned myself off Celexa this past year because of the weight gain (about 20 pounds over a 2-year period). My only advice is:
do it VERY gradually. I had headaches and dizziness for 2-3 months, but eventually they did go away.By the way, I have lost 18 pounds since June!!
