Rose, ANY doc that would prescibe you an antipyschotic over the phone w/o seeing you is a tool!!!! (insert cuss words here________). OK, to be bipolar you would have to be diagnosed according to the scale (the name of which slips my mind just now). Being "up and down" doesn't mean you are bipolar unless you mean when you are "up" that you sleep 3 hours, then go out and conquer the world, and when you are down, a bulldoser couldn't get you out of the house. Of course there are varying degrees of any illness. I think it is a disservice to you to be treated this way. If the people you are seeing aren't making a SIGNIFICANT improvement in your life/mood, then find another that will! I know it can be hard. I don't know how you feel about religion, but the story in John 5 about Jesus and the cripple at the well at Bethesda speaks volumes to me. "Do you WANT to be healed?" he asks. Seems like a no-brainer until you think long and hard about what that message really is. Even to a non-Christian the philosophy is sound.
This is the end of the thread.
