Anyone tried this? From what I read it is supposed to lowere cortisol some. Another snake oil? Your input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I tried it about a year a go. I took it once a day for about a month. I did notice a certain mild calming effect but it seemed to only last a couple of hours. If you have a lot of anxiety, it may not be strong enough but if you want to try it, I'm not aware of any adverse side effects. Celexa works very well to relieve my anxiety.

I use it. For me (BP II) it provides a clarity of thought and a mild calming effect. I agree with Bill, the positive effect is short-lived (i.e.; between two and four hours). It is kinda spendee at about forty bucks for 60 softgel caps (500mg). I use the Source Naturals brand. I have not found much clinical trial data on the web, but the suppliers of the products have some useful information on their web pages. Just search for phosphatidyl serine, or maybe you already have. Let me know if you need help.
My bottom line opinion: Not snake oil but not a huge bang for the buck.
