Sorry to be so blunt, but I havent seen a good answer to this question anywhere else. I have tried several SSRI's over the past 15 months: Zoloft, celexa, welbutrin, buspar, serzone, and remeron. All have cause various side effects or had minimal effect. Now I'm back with zoloft because it provides the best coverage for my depression and irratibility. First time I tried Zoloft I stopped at 75mg. It covered well, but I stopped due to sexual side effects. After all the other I have returned to Zoloft. I had to got to 100mg to get same effect and the sexual effects are the same.
Basically, I have a greatly decreased sex drive, erections are not as rigid, sensation in the penis is greatly reduced, orgasm is very difficult to reach, and when i do have an orgasm it is very "mild" with very little semen.
I also have noticed difficulty in starting to urinate. It feels like I have less contol of my PC muscles. Again, sorry to be so blunt, but I am very frustrated. I like the mood effects of Zoloft and the increased enjoyment of life. However, my girlfriend and I used to have a very fulfiling sex life and we miss it. I'm only 30 and it seems a bit early in life to havce to deal with these problems. Any help would be appriciated.

The one I have seen work is adding 100mg of Wellbutrin SR in the morning. It has cleared up to symptoms you have described in several people. Ask your doc about it.
Treating SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction has few, if any, published controlled studies, so I can see why you haven't found anything on it. Nothing has been PROVEN effective, yet. - Cam W.
