Just checking out the new site....I had a look at the names on the list and wow there are heaps of names. I guess I have never realised just how many people come to PB, it must be a fantastic feeling to set something up like this and have so many visit, post, help each other etc.
I think I first came to PB in 1999 - Noa and Bob (finelinebob) were very welcoming I remember. Others 'old-timers' I remember with affection are CamW of course, Sunnely, CarolAnn, Mark H, dove, Adam, Ali, Todd, Racer, Medlib, Greg from ASH, oh there must be many more that I have forgotten.

I would never forget you my dear, I guess I first met you at ASH (at least I think so anyway) and think of you as being from there, if you know what I mean. The folks here at babble I used to write to and read their messages from back in 1999. It has worried me about who I have forgotten from here at babble though I must admit, it is tricky to remember everyone.How are things with you T? I miss seeing you at ASH.....would love to see you there again, or maybe we oldtimers could organise a chat or something! That would be way cool.

Good to see you back! You're the only one (so far) whom I don't recall seeing at all lately. May I ask what prompted you to return? Had you been following PB or was this just serendipity? Whichever, stick around,*please*.
It's getting cooler there, right? Can I come for a visit? About this time every year my father would talk about emigrating to New Zealand. Once he returned from Washington vowing never to try another case before "those idiots" (the Supreme Court) and began preparations to move. I don't know what happened, but I'm really sorry that he didn't follow through.

Thanks for your post, I always read your messages back in the 'old' days Medlib, they were always very informative and supportive as I remember. Yes the weather is cooling down now, we had quite a mild summer, not one day over 39c (thats a hundred and something - have forgotton my farenheit conversions!). Usually we have a couple of weeks when the weather is so hideous the roads almost melt. It is a relief to be able to wear jumpers (sweaters) and jeans again.....and of course my favourite boots!
Hey, you can come visit anytime you like - I can't remember where you were from Medlib? Yesterday we had some New York firefighters arrive here for a two week visit, they were sponsored by one of our fire guys who went to NY to help with the cleanup after Sept 11 and while he was there he said he would love them to come out here to Aussie for a visit. Soooo, he fundraised with his crew and they have arrived - what a nice thing to do. I hope they have a wonderful relaxing time here, we arent a bad place to visit (if I dont say so myself!)
New Zealand is a beautiful country and I am sure your Dad would have loved it! Of course Australia is better (just winking my one eye here along with that comment!!) he he.

Hi, Deb, and everyone. I haven't been here in a long time--and come back to see this new board for us oldtimers!
things are pretty good. Just bought my own place to live--have been very very busy. All the decision making does make me quite anxious and sometimes that just makes me require an immediate nap! But in general, things have been pretty good. Eventually it all comes together, and I need to stop every so often and remember how amazing it is that I am here at this spot, with the opportunity to make such decisions, etc. given where I was at just a couple of years ago.
Even though I'm not around here, I think about you guys sometimes. I'll pop in sometimes.
