Is this the "psychobabble" tune from Alan Parson's Project that was discussed earlier?

Ok, I know I am ill, but hearing things no one else does has never been one of my symptoms. Scroll up to the top of the page. Click "yes" next to where it says "music" and then hit the refresh button, or wait till you sign on next time. Happy listening.

BTW, does anyone know if there are words to this ditty, and what are they?

Well, the music is OK - unless I'm at work! Not that I would ever surf the web at work - that would be wrong!! :-)

So, I click "Automatic (next time): No" and guess what...still plays..and plays....

Yes, I've refreshed til the cows come home - and still....it babbles.

Oops, sorry about that. Can you tell me what kind of browser and what kind of computer?

Regardless of whether I click "yes" or "no," I don't hear the music. I thought it might play on the home page where it used to play "Life Goes On," but it doesn't. Maybe it's just another disadvantage with the Internet Explorer.

I am using IE 5.0 and Win98. There is also musical on your home page where those controls are - the play plays, the stop also plays and the only thing that stops it is pause! I'm sure its not your fault - its that pesky Gates Boy.

I infered from previous posts that this tune might be the Alan Parson's Project "Psychobabble" but really don't know. Can anyone name that tune for a musically challenged but curious person?

Where it says "Music" at the top? Try clicking on it... :-)

Thanks for the extra information. I'll try to test it out, be we only have one Windows computer with a sound card here at work. And I'm swamped right now...

I guess it's "thanks" from someone who is BOTH musically and technically challenged!

That problem, at least, should be fixed. I think it was my fault, not Bill's. :-)

Music: Automatic (next time): Yes No

Well Doc...sorry to say but the music plays on. Maybe I should just tell my shrink??

(IE5.0 Win98)

Heck - I'm used to the music. I just crank up my Diana Krall CD.

Just to let you know, it's still doing it. At least now it stops after a few minutes, but it's hard to take. (IE 4, Windows 95)

My new favorite word. I printed it in a giant font and posted it in my office. I'll try using it to replace some the $.25 words I occasionally use!

I made a little change that probably didn't make a difference, but you never know -- did it?

It is working as designed! I can toggle back and forth with "Music: Automatic (next time): Yes No". Works perfectly. Thanks for your help. Now I can goof off at work in silence!

I don't think anything happened. The "yes" button shows up filled in, but it doesn't start automatically? What type of browser and computer are you using?
