I have been on thiothixene since I was 25. I am now 48/. I have had probably over 40 jobs in the last 20 years. I went through cognitive therapy but not too successfully. I landed in the hospital twice. I have never messed with the prescription but always taken the dosage prescribed. I now just call in for a prescription as needed. I did manage to get an associate degree in occuapational therapy only to find out there are no jobs available in this area. I am not willing to relocate. I live in a small rural town in central Kansas. I sometimes wonder if there are any real psychiatrists in this area. Frustrated with being out of work again. Any suggestions?

Sounds like quite a journey you've made. Maybe
you could pursue some kind of home-employment on
your own. I see ads all the time for this and
have always thought they were bogus. But I've
never really tried so who knows? If you are good with computers you could do
anything from bookeeping to web-based stuff. Of
course thesethings may not be very interesting!
Good luck.Sean.
