Hey Ababe,
I have been without my computer for a little while and just got it back yesterday. I missed everyone so much and I am really glad to be back in touch with my yo yo's. I'll email you later tonight so that we can catch up. Mrs. C

Louise,
If you are looking for support and friendship you have come to the right place. These girls, the yo-yo's have been together though thick and thin...we have even been known to throw a fabulous party or two...
40lbs, I am sure that has made you really feel worse. Usually on lexapro I have heard 1/3 gain, 1/3rd lose and 1/3rd stay. I have gained about 7lbs but do feel a lot better. I had depression and anxiety... I am usually feeling better but this week has me with the PMS so I am feeling a little crazy.
I think lexapro is worth a shot, you may want to try it and you will find good friends and support here!!

Hi Louise and welcome!
Are you off of the Effexor now, and on nothing else??? That alone must be rough.
Wish I had an answer for the weight gain. I would use it for myself... LOL

So my husband and I go for a quiet afternoon of tailgating and this happened 50 feet away from us!!! I heard what I thought was fireworks and then within five minutes, there were more authorities around than I have ever seen in my entire life!!
You may have read about this already, but I was there and SAW MOST OF IT!! Even some of the really BAD stuff, which I don't think you all would want to hear about... Next time, we are tailgating in our driveway!

Yes, I did see the one guy afterwards, It was bad, but I HAD to look or I would have wondered forever about what I didn't see. It was pretty bad, but not like I'm scarred bad. Some people were though...I don't think you have ever heard quiet quite like it at a tailgate party...It is just so eerie they had a game over there yesterday and things run as normal...I guess they have to, but it is just scary, it is less than a half mile from my house, to know there are people out there that make such irrational decisions in a split second is petrifying!!!
Thanks for the email Ms. Mystic. I appreciate you thinking about me! I am fine, really. I swear if I didn't want law and order and ER I wouldn't have been able to stomach it, but I think I was more thinking about what happened and not what it looked like...

WE WILL REAP OUR REWARDS!!! plus no one believes in the ALMIGHTY GOD!! a little spanking once in a while is ok.. hey. i was abused and spanked and all sorts of things and i turned out ok.. alittle messed up over rape and such but a spanking and correction never hurt any of us.. plus to much TV, VIDIO GAMES, AND VIOLENCE IS BEING INJECTED TO OUR CHILDREN TODAY.. YOUR EYES ARE FLASHLIGHTS TO YOUR SOLE... you heard you are what you eat!!! same thing WE ARE WHAT WE SEE TOO!!! if i ever had children that lived they wouldn't have a tv in the house... too much corruption and violence.

It is tough raising kids in times like these, Trucker. We can't even let them watch most of the prime-time network sitcoms now because of the language/sexual content. EVEN THE CARTOONS HAVE TO BE SENSORED! And the music on the radio... we won't even go there. And the teen magazines! My 12 year old gets a magazine that is aimed at young teens, and they can't even seem to avoid talking about sex - and I'm not talking about the "don't do"s.
What ever happened to "The Andy Griffeth Show" and "I Love Lucy"? And the sweet love songs on the radio. I hate to be cynical, but I don't think we will ever see those days again.

I agree with both of you, some of the kids i teache will undoubtedly grow up to be doctors, lawyers, teachers, professor, rapists, drug dealers and murderers...It is scary.

We wouldn't notice if those were the only four channels on the TV my son watches. Well, maybe Cartoon Network, but only sometimes.

Hi!
I have yet to see what the post about Nickeloden was but I love their cartoons. Sadly I am a 25 year old professional but watch SpongeBob and Jimmy Neutron all the time. I have even gotten my boyfriend into them...yes we are dorks but it is ok!!

My husband and I, both professionals and both well older than you, both love them and would probably watch them even if we didn't have a kid to justify it. :) We like the Fairly Oddparents too.
