Thanks, P/J.
You are warm and kind and generous. You have a treasure in knowledge that we only occasionally glimpse because you are so busy nurturing people in other ways. I only wish that I could somehow steer you in the direction of your own healing. You are a survivor, but we all want so much more in life for you.
Happy New Year.

Okay. I see. Yes, I was teased as a child. I didn't like it back then. Now, your teasing me is just water off a Duck's back.
One thing that I don' like is to be called "Scottie" or "Scotty". I much prefer to be called asshöle by you. Feel free to do so.
Where did you learn it from?
You are quite predictable.
Perhaps I am, too.
Either way, I am not impressed. I would like to see you find another white whale to pursue with harpoons tempered from the information that you have collected about people through the years. It would be pretty cool if other people were to recognize your pattern of interaction with me, don't you think? It would explain a great deal about your interactions with others whom you target.
You should have learned by now that your posts do not hurt me. Just what are you angry at, anyway?

Too personal?
I wish you peace.

Scott that is nice of you to post this to me. Could you seriously help to find out what happened to taste and smell? Each night after eating I get depressed. Keep food away from me and feel normal. I do fear Alzheimers.
Changing course have you ever considered web design to do at home? You have a talent for you. I remember your original website. Lots of great information. From now on I will be officially PJ

Nice try.
I confront Lou Pilder's words. I never once berated the person. Over the years, I have made it quite clear to Lou that I liked him. Did you ever manage to come across my posts to Lou telling him that in your continuous, vigilant, and faithful monitoring of Psycho-Babble?
I feel berated by you.

>>I feel berated by you.
<sigh>
Yeah, me too, if it's any consolation. Not that it would be. Better if there were no beratees (word?? it is now ;-) )to commiserate.
How about no one berates anyone, and if they do (after all, we **all** slip up, lose our tempers, etc.), they are firmly reminded to swerve back on the road and follow the signs by Dr. Bob? Oh, wait, we've been there and done that and apparently that is deemed a lousy model.
I like Lou as well. I will never forget him offering to shelter people after Hurricane Katrina. Or having fun on Social with music. Or trying to open his Little Shoppe way back when... I also think he deeply believes in what he does here. To me, that's divorced from his behavioral choices. No community can endorse repeated violations of accepted rules just because someone says, "...but I really, really, really am trying to help you by accusing and putting down." It's nonsensical to me.
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/20131217/msgs/1057387.htmlYou are not Mr. Dick, just as I am not part of nor do I condone lynching or lynch mobs. But if you're Moby, you seem to be trying to protect and/or defend your environment, which makes sense.
I wonder how people (usually of color) whose ancestors actually were victims of real lynching feel about this sort of hyberbole? Such a horrific thing to invoke... In my "self-righteousness," I asked and still ask for accusations against deputies and others to stop. Is that equal to whipping up a mob to pursue murder against a person whose skin color differs from mine? I guess now it's implied I'm not only an anti-semite and fosterer of such, but a violent racist, too.
Is HC a person of color? Is HC a hurting woman or man? If HC isn't a psycho and doesn't Babble, what was the attraction to PB the first time? Does HC want to hang out here in peace and harmony and get to know more posters? Is is possible HC jumps to conclusions about other posters' values?
I think all cygnets I've ever seen are adorable, and even if someone said they were "homely" I probably wouldn't agree, at least not if that is supposed to a a "bad" thing. Most newborn babies are homely - and my reaction is: so what?
I just don't understand the agenda.

Berated is not a feeling, it is an accusation that I am berating you. That is not true. Please do not use feeling language to conceal accusations against others. I feel hurt and dismayed and misunderstood.
